The clients envisioned their riverfront three-acre former river cottage brought to life as a family gathering spot for their children and grandchildren. We sought to connect the home with the land, manipulate the landscape minimally, work with a native palette of planting, keep all water on-site, establish a native meadow, and draw people out into nature.
